About It's cooL To CARE.
The ICTC. Mission:
Our mission is to show that caring is cool. We educate and inspire others to understand the power of compassion. By being real and open, we break down barriers and make a positive impact in our communities.
We are committed to giving back to our communities. We promote a set of values which include Character, Authenticity, Resilience, and Encouragement. When embraced, these values can help anyone build success in whatever they choose to do in life.
OUR CORE VALUES:
Character
Prioritize not only your present self but also the person you aspire to be.
Authenticity

OUR HISTORY:
“Born and raised in Springville, Utah, I have always believed in the power of caring for people. After graduating high school in 2023, I moved to Twin Falls on a softball scholarship to the College of Southern Idaho. In a new state, a new environment, and dealing with emotions I had never worked through before, I quickly learned how easily a big smile can hide big hurt. I knew that if I felt unseen, so did countless others.
That same year, I was introduced to the Jae Foundation and was reminded personally that I was Loved, Seen, and CARED for. Afterwards, the founder, Jason Vickrey, invited me to find my core values and mission statement, with wise advice I still live by: “Caroline, it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to be in progress.” That is where I wrote down It’s Cool To CARE. for the very first time. Once I did the work internally, I was ready to look outward. My goal was to create a community where, on our good days, bad days, and every day in between, we can understand we don’t have to go through this life alone.
What started with a few phone calls to college athletes who cared and a handful of summer events back home has grown into school assemblies, year-long programming, Leadership Journeys, monthly outreach nights, All-Inclusive Sports Nights, and CARE. Camp! Thanks to an incredible team and community, our goal of reaching 4 schools turned into more than 100 in just ONE year!
Fast forward to today, I am SO proud to work alongside a wonderful team that continues to show up in such a special way, and a community that has rallied beautifully around this mission.
Through our C.A.R.E. core values (Character, Authenticity, Resilience, and Encouragement), my why is simple: to be the example I needed growing up. Every one of us deserves to be reminded we are CARED for, because that simple reminder doesn’t just change a life. It can save one.
Here’s to making a difference… TOGETHER! The best is yet to come, LET’S ROLL!”
